PGCPS + PGCMLS: Working together for our kids

I’m a big fan of our Prince George’s County libraries. I’ve been taking my kids to the library since they were very little. Lucas was so proud to get his first library card a few years ago.

Did you hear the recent announcement that all PGCPS students can access the library’s services with their student ID? (More info here: http://ww1.pgcmls.info/LINK). This partnership makes a lot of sense. There’s no reason for our students to have to get a separate library card.

If elected I’ll work hard to form more partnerships like this.

Make sure to check out the Summer Reading Club and all the online resources. Downloading free audio books has gotten us through a lot of long road trips to visit my parents. You can also search for books by your child’s reading Lexile reading level. Did you know the library has 3D printers?

Spend some time exploring the library’s website here: http://www.pgcmls.info/
